Lavandou beaches and water sports

Le Lavandou, a former fishing village, is now a famous seaside resort. It has 12 fine sandy beaches which extend over nearly 12 kilometers of coastline. Come and relax on the beaches of La Fossette, Pramousquier, Saint-Clair or Le Layet, located just a few minutes from our hotel with your feet in the water. You can indulge in i dleness, swimming, sunbathing and water sports. In the summer, many activities are offered: sailing school, jet-ski, kayak, stand-up paddle or parasailing. You can rent a boat to go to the Golden Islands and access unspoiled coves.

The surrounding villages and resorts

Near Lavandou, many seaside resorts and small villages typical of Provence are to be discovered. Just 3 kilometers from Le Lavandou, you will be charmed by Bormes-les-Mimosas, a hillside village which offers an exceptional panorama. The famous Saint-Tropez tourist resort is about thirty kilometers from our 3-star establishment. Cavalaire-sur-Mer, La Croix Valmer, or Hyères are also pretty seaside resorts that are worth a visit.

Bike paths

Cycling and cycling enthusiasts can take the cycle path which passes close to the hotel and runs along the Var coast for around 80 kilometres. This cycle route crosses 20 towns and villages typical of Provence. You will discover the rich flora and landscapes that make up our exceptional coastal area. The Golden Islands

Less than 300 meters from our charming hotel, you will find the piers to get to the Golden Islands. You can also rent a boat to discover preserved coves, between azure sea, green nature and golden sand. Let yourself be seduced by Porquerolles, its silvery beaches and its turquoise sea. On the island of Port-Cros, you will discover an exceptional protected natural park. Levant Island, a symbol of a return to nature, is renowned for its abundant vegetation and its nudist beaches.

Other activities

The region has no shortage of activities and places to discover for young and old. We advise you to go to Fort Brégançon in Bormes-les-Mimosas, to the Domaine de Rayol to learn about the scents of Provence, to take one of the many wine routes in the region, to discover the Golf Club du Large Garden and the Tropical Zoological Garden of Londe-les-Maures.

The Lavandou markets

During your visit to Le Lavandou, take a detour to one of its markets where perfumes, colors and good humor meet. We invite you to meet on Thursday morning to discover the weekly market, on Sunday morning to take advantage of the small organic market and, on sunny summer days, once a week, for the craft market.
